Beautiful! Amazing how a few brush strokes can say so much. I wonder where this was painted. My best friend comes from Ardessie (but now lives in Africa!)
Thank you Rach – these paintings are not far from Ardessie – in fact I had a cup of tea at Maggie’s tearooms in Ardessie on the way home. The location is Red Point, south of Gairloch, looking towards Skye. It’s an incredibly beautiful part of the country (to me) – although I suspect Africa is warmer!
