Lovely, Joey. Thank you!
Enjoyed all of this Jo !
Lovely Jo, and the poems are perfect. I have bookmarked ted Hughes to go back again. As Leonie says, its is hard to picture in the heat we are having at the moment!
Jo thanks for the painting and the poems. It was very evocative in the face of our 39 C (100+F) day yesterday.
Hi Leonie, I nearly linked to this from your part of the world http://www.poetrylibrary.edu.au/poets/kinsella-john/heading-south-through-the-long-paddock-0245014 – but it didnt fit the picture. Hope you are staying cool.
Jo
Thank you for the link. What a wonderful poem and, shame on me, an Australian poet I’m completely unfamiliar with. Not for long though.
We’ve had a break in the weather today cooler with showers and a big thunderstorm about an hour ago. So it will be cool overnight for sleeping and that after the rain freshness in the morning.
Regards
Leonie
